How to connect home theatre system to DVD and TV to play audio ?

Any ideas as how to connect VCR, Receiver, Equalizer, DVD,TV and Home Theatre System, so each will play audio through speakers.

How can I make my games systems sound come from the same speakers.?

I have logitech speakers and wanted to know how i could make all my game systems sound come from only the logitech speaker and not my tv. I am only able to have one game systems sound come from the logitech speakers. Is there some kind of extention thing i need?

Speakers – 'Home Theatre' – Would Towers work / be cool as 'Surround' Speakers ?

Typically Home Theatre set ups have one tower speaker on either side of the TV, center channel in the middle, a sub, and two (or more) much smaller ’surround’ speakers in the back.

Putting aside what you might think about speaker placement or whether a sub is necessary etc, the question is:

Is there any reason to NOT use towers as ’surround’ speakers also ?

I have Polk Audio surround speakers now and they are fine and dandy and make cools sounds, etc.

But the towers Rock. I know that the signal that goes to the front speakers is different than the one going to the ’surround’ speakers.

Unless there is some ‘magic’ to ’surround’ speakers, it seems to me that having towers all around would be killer.

Forget about space requirements & money.

Assuming that they get enough power some somehow:

Is there anything flawed with the idea of using towers placed as ’surround’ speakers ?

it has a 3way bass reflex speaker…sub woofer… horn tweeter and midrange…. does it need to be hooked up to a reciever for them to be used for tv…

How can get surround sound on my XBOX360 with these PC speakers?

I have some Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers (they are like these, but older models http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/home_pc_speakers/devices/234&cl=us,en). There is a cable with a green, orange and black plug on the end and I want to know how to hook these babies up to my XBOX 360. Are there any other kinds of solutions to getting some quick, quality surround sound on my 360?

I’m not sure how to hook up the 5.1 Logitech Surround Sound PC Speakers to my Olevia 527V 27" LCD Display.

i got into a car crash and everything was pretty much done for except for the subwoofers, the boxes they were in got kinda beat up though, and so i was wondering what i could use to power them so i could use them in my home audio stereo? i have a 150 watt receiver pushing 2 speakers already, so they is basically used up, and ideas on what i can use?

We’re finishing off our basement and all together it’s roughly 650 sq. ft. It’s one big room with three different areas which include a theater, a rec room, and a bar. I wanted the surround sound effect with 6 speakers (including the sub) for the theater, and an additional 4 speakers in the rec room. We’re hoping to find a way to support this idea, and if we get lucky, find a receiver that supports multi-zone audio control to allow the 4 speakers in the rec room to play music, and the other 6 to be supporting the surround sound from the tv..please help…thanks
